Job summary

Dorset Council is seeking a Procurement Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end procurement and commissioning transformation as part of the ERP migration from SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud. You will lead governance, data, and process redesign, ensuring benefits realisation and strong controls across the organisation.

The role is a Senior leadership position, requires public sector transformation experience, and is offered on a hybrid basis with site attendance at Dorchester (DT1 1XJ).

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Procurement & Commissioning.
• Experience leading procurement transformation within Local Government or public sector.
• ERP implementation experience (SAP and/or Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transformation of Dorset Council's procurement operating model to Oracle Fusion.
• Governance, risk and compliance stewardship within the ERP programme.
• Stakeholder engagement and change management across services.
• Define and monitor benefits aligned to the MTFP savings plan.
