Job summary

Connect2Dorset is seeking a Programme Director to lead a high‑impact ERP transformation (Oracle Fusion) across Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement for Dorset Council. You will drive governance, change management and a fit‑to‑standard approach, ensuring timely delivery within budget and alignment with public sector standards.

The role requires senior leadership experience, stakeholder engagement at executive level, and the ability to manage complex multi‑vendor delivery in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, finance essential.
Experience with ERP or Oracle Fusion implementations essential.
Programme director or senior leadership experience in large-scale transformation.
Experience with GDS standards and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the ERP transformation programme across Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement.
Provide authoritative governance and strategic leadership across organisational boundaries.
Set direction, build a high-performing team and maintain momentum to deliver on time and within budget.
Drive business change, service redesign and robust financial controls to safeguard public service continuity.
