Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Supply Chain & Procurement Co-Ordinator to join its purchasing team at Carrington, Trafford. You will coordinate purchasing, supplier management and day-to-day supply chain activities to ensure timely deliveries and optimal stock levels.

You will work closely with Purchasing Manager across the business, using ERP/MRP systems and Excel to maintain records, analyse data and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, supplier coordination or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, stock control and delivery coordination.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or purchasing systems.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchasing of raw materials, consumables and services to meet production needs.
• Obtain supplier quotations, review pricing and delivery times, support negotiations.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor service levels; resolve issues.
• Monitor stock levels and support production schedules.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activity, stock levels and supplier performance.
