Job summary

The Pilot Group is hiring a Purchasing Co-ordinator in Manchester to secure competitive prices, manage PO entry, and monitor post-order supply chain activities. You will work with Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth stock flow and timely deliveries.

Hybrid role with 3 office days, based in Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will have strong communication, data entry and Microsoft Office skills to support procurement, reporting and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills via telephone and email.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Accurate data entry and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Purchase a range of products at competitive prices and manage PO entry.
• Coordinate stock delivery schedules and supplier communications.
• Forecast demand and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Produce weekly/monthly management information reports.
• Process supplier offers and manage order cancellations.
• Support warehouse with stock transfers and daily targets.
