Job summary

Knights Construction Group is seeking a commercially focused Procurement Supervisor to support industrial, commercial and agricultural construction projects from our Wrexham Head Office.

You will manage material take-offs, source and procure materials, coordinate plant hire and negotiate with suppliers to keep programs and budgets on track, working closely with Design, Pre-Construction, Commercial and Project teams to drive value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in construction.
• Experience producing material take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial or agricultural cladding/building envelope systems.
• Confident supplier negotiation with cost control and delivery requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; able to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, commercial mindset; works independently and in a team.
• Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material take-offs using construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Source, quantify and procure roof and wall cladding systems, panels, flashings and related materials.
• Plan purchasing and coordinate deliveries to meet project programmes and budgets.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Source and assess new suppliers and products to improve quality, availability and value.
• Coordinate plant and equipment hire across multiple projects and manage costs.
