Job summary

Fyba Talent, incorporated is seeking a procurement professional to deliver and manage the division-level purchase ledger, materials, plant hire and related expenditures within the water sector. The role emphasizes policy adherence, supplier relationships, and aligning with regional buyers for timely orders.

You will support site teams, manage cost data, and help ensure accurate tender costs. Strong IT, communication, and team-work skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the procurement process at Divisional Level for purchase ledger purchases, materials, plant hire and non-contract related expenditure.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
• Comply with Company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Liaise with Central Procurement lead/Regional Buyer to ensure Procurement Policy and Procedures are followed at local level.
• Liaise with Site and Management Teams to determine material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Generate and accurately utilize procurement and system management tools.
• Place material purchase orders with the Regional Buyer as required.
• Provide job support/cover for the Plant Administrator and placement of Plant Hire Orders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to maximise profitability and achieve business objectives.
• Provide professional and service-driven assistance to all divisions of the Water Business for timely material/plant hire orders.
• Develop effective working relationships with Group Accounts Teams/Procurement Business Partner to ensure proper processing of good receipt documentation and closing invoice queries.
• Support management and site teams with a personal and dedicated approach to procurement solutions.
• Coordinate with estimating/design/site teams to ensure accurate material/hire costs at tender stage.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary to undertake the role.
