The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Commercial Team. You will support the Mayor's priorities by ensuring procurement activity is efficient, compliant and delivers commercial value for the West of England.

The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunity to develop in a pivotal transformation phase. Key duties include managing procurement requirements from concept to delivery, publishing RFQs, maintaining contracts and attending to

Formación

At least 2 years’ experience in a procurement role.
Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes end-to-end.
Exposure to professional services/consultancy categories.
Understanding of government procurement frameworks.

Responsabilidades

Manage a portfolio of procurement requirements from concept to delivery.
Publish and manage RFQs via electronic tendering system.
Maintain Procurement Work Plan and Contracts Register.
Support development and delivery of procurement training and presentations.
Ensure compliance with Contract Standing Orders and Public Contract Regulations.
Define requirements, timelines, routes to market and evaluation criteria with stakeholders.
Be first point of contact for procurement queries and manage the Procurement Inbox.
Research markets, suppliers and government frameworks (CCS, Bloom, ESPO).
Undertake full procurement cycle including post-tender approvals.
Provide tactical/operational contract management.
