Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist (Intermediate) for an on-site contract in Filton, UK. You will join the supply management team for Landing and Fuel System Equipment, coordinating with European and U.S. suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.

The role focuses on PO management, stock and reorder parameters, supplier performance reviews, and close collaboration with internal customers worldwide to support production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Must have SAP experience.
  • Experience in supply chain procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to align with requirements.
  • Optimize ordering parameters (safety stock, reorder point, batch size).
  • Handle reordering after rejection or damages.
  • Monitor delivery forecasts and line of balance with suppliers.
  • Track KPIs: Missing Parts, Stock, Level of Service; escalate as needed.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and issue resolution.
  • Assist new product introductions when required.

Role Overview
  • As Supply management team for Landing and Fuel System Equipment, we serve as the critical link between our suppliers in Europe and the U.S. and client's global production sites.
  • Our primary accountability is to ensure a seamless supply of components-such as landing gears, wheels, brakes,and Fuel equipment-to prevent any disruption to client's manufacturing schedules.
  • This involves managing on-time deliveries and providing clear, consistent communication to all our internal stakeholders.
  • The Supply Chain Coordinator, as process operator of 'Supply External Products and Services'process, has the accountability to monitor the delivery of the right part, at the right time, at the right quantity, to the right place in accordance with customer needs.
  • This is delivered through:
  • Management of multiple supplier portfolio
  • Daily Supplier/Customer interface
  • Monitoring and improvement of first tier suppliers relationships
  • Use of appropriate logistic and ordering solutions
  • Supporting quality in the resolution of issues
  • Supporting new product introductions when required
Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment to requirements
  • Optimise ordering parameters (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point) in line with influencing factors (delivery performance, quality performance, economic order quantity, demand fluctuation)
  • Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap/damages
  • Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular interaction with suppliers
  • Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing Parts, Stock KPIs, Level of Service
  • Ensure clear and regular communication to all internal customers based across the world and that the escalation process is initiated in a timely manner where required to avoid impacts to build through late supply
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to supplier where required
  • Follow-up and support troubleshooting for delivery issues, Goods receipt, Technical/Administrative quality notice and invoices
  • Analyse MRP and Supply External Product exception messages
  • Where required monitor supplier stock and support the Scrap/Sell/transfer process
Skill Set Essential

Mandatory
  • Experienced in using SAP
