Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a contract role based in Filton, with 80% onsite work and a 35-hour week. The position involves monitoring POs, optimizing order parameters, and managing supplier delivery forecasts to meet customer needs.

You will work with SAP-based MRP processes, analyze data to drive improvements, and maintain clear communication across global internal teams while supporting supplier performance reviews and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage purchase orders to align with requirements
• Optimise ordering parameters (stock, time, batch size) based on delivery and quality performance
• Handle reordering after rejection, scrap, or damages
• Track delivery forecasts and line-of-balance with suppliers
• Provide KPI-based performance insights for ordering and stock levels
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams worldwide and escalate issues promptly
• Support supplier performance reviews and feedback
• Assist with delivery issue troubleshooting, goods receipts, quality notices and invoicing
• Analyse MRP and external product exception messages
• Monitor supplier stock and support scrap/sell/transfer processes

Job description

Our client has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join them on a contract basis until November 2026 with possibility of extension.

You will have accountability to monitor the delivery of the right part, at the right time, at the right quantity, to the right place in accordance with customer needs.

Role: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Filton - 80% onsite per week
Hours: 35 per week
Hourly Rate: £30.69 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS required before starting

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment to requirements
• Optimise ordering parameters (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point) in line with influencing factors (delivery performance, quality performance, economic order quantity, demand fluctuation)
• Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap/damages
• Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular interaction with suppliers
• Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing Parts, Stock KPIs, Level of Service
• Ensure clear and regular communication to all internal customers based across the world and that the escalation process is initiated in a timely manner where required to avoid impacts to build through late supply
• Participate in supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to supplier where required
• Follow-up and support troubleshooting for delivery issues, Goods receipt, Technical/Administrative quality notice and invoices
• Analyse MRP and Supply External Product exception messages
• Where required monitor supplier stock and support the Scrap/Sell/transfer process

Requirements:
