Job summary

NES Fircroft in Teesside is seeking a Procurement Specialist with a strong focus on energy procurement and market strategy. You will develop procurement strategies across electricity, natural gas, utilities and emissions allowances, and lead energy sourcing across multiple pricing models.

The role requires 5+ years' procurement experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and deep familiarity with energy markets and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement/sourcing experience.
• Proven experience negotiating in commercially complex or volatile markets.
• Strong understanding of energy procurement, utilities or energy markets.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Ideally experience within chemical, process, manufacturing, industrial or other energy-intensive environments.
• Experience with CCL, EII, NCC, CPS or renewable energy procurement would be advantageous.
