Job summary

NES Fircroft is partnering with a Teesside-based energy-intensive manufacturing business to appoint a Procurement Specialist focused on energy. You will drive strategies across electricity, gas, utilities and emissions allowances.

You will lead energy sourcing, monitor markets, and support budgeting and cost modelling while identifying opportunities in green electricity, PPAs and renewable energy procurement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement/sourcing experience.
• Proven experience negotiating in volatile or complex markets.
• Strong understanding of energy procurement, utilities or energy markets.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Experience with energy pricing models and market dynamics.
• Experience with CCL, EII, NCC, CPS or renewable energy procurement would be advantageous.
