Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Technology Sector
Location: Bathgate


Full-Time


Temporary (with view to go permanent)


Salary dependant on experience


Are you a proactive procurement professional with a passion for technology and operational excellence? Join our client's dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of components and materials that power our innovative solutions.


What You'll Do


As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our clients supply chain operations-ensuring timely availability of materials, managing inventory levels, and optimising costs to support both customer orders and internal projects.


️ Key Responsibilities



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers; onboard new partners to expand their network.

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle-from issuing RFQs and sourcing to updating stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

  • Create and manage part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAGE; interpret technical drawings with confidence.

  • Support and improve stock control processes, including goods-in and goods-out operations.


What You Bring



  • Proven experience in buying/planning within a manufacturing or factory environment.

  • Strong supplier account management skills and experience working with global customers.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAGE and ERP systems is highly desirable.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
