Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment represents an International Firm with a top-tier L500-ranked procurement team seeking a Solicitor in Edinburgh. You will advise on high-value public sector procurements, shaping strategy and directing tender processes across nationwide projects.

Responsibilities include drafting procurement documents and supporting bidders, with collaboration across disputes and other disciplines. 1-5 PQE and strong drafting essential.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with 1-5 PQE in procurement.
• Experience or strong interest in public or utilities procurement law.
• Background in commercial, regulatory or projects work.
• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review procurement documentation for complex projects.
• Advise bidders and clients through live procurement exercises.
• Collaborate with disputes team on procurement challenges.
• Contribute to strategic risk assessment and resolution.
