Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment in Edinburgh is seeking a Procurement Solicitor (1-4 PQE) to join a Tier 1 ranked procurement practice advising public bodies, utilities and private sector partners on high‑value procurements across the UK.

You will draft and review procurement documents, support live tenders, and work closely with a disputes team to manage procurement risk across transport, energy, healthcare and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with 1-5 PQE in procurement.
• Experience or strong interest in public or utilities procurement law.
• Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and client-facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review procurement documents for public bodies and private entities.
• Advise bidders on strategic positioning in tenders.
• Collaborate with disputes team on procurement litigation.
