Job summary

Thales Group in Glasgow is seeking a Procurement Project Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing for complex defence and aerospace projects in a hybrid Glasgow team.

You will define and execute procurement strategies across design, development and production, assess market offers, and optimise procurement costs with cross-functional teams. Security clearance (SC) is required or to be obtained before joining.

Qualifications

• Experience across bid, project, product development and production phases.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a matrix organisation and manage deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and execute the procurement plan/strategy across all phases.
• Interface between internal customers and cross-border procurements; liaise with segments/categories.
• Validate market offers for the product/project and optimise cost with category/subcontract managers.
• Monitor procurement plan execution and update procurement dashboard; define contractual requirements.
