TalentHawk is seeking a Procurement Policy & Governance Lead in the UK to advance its Procurement Centre of Excellence. The role combines policy, governance, and stakeholder management with hands-on execution in a regulated environment.

You will translate legislation into practical guidance, drive compliance improvements, and collaborate with Legal, Risk & Controls, Finance, and Security to influence procurement decisions. Experience with AI-enabled transformation is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience within regulated or complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023.
• Experience in policy, governance, compliance or assurance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders as a senior SME.

Responsabilités

• Own and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, guidance and governance frameworks.
• Act as a trusted SME on Procurement Act 2023, regulatory compliance and procurement governance.
• Translate complex legislation into clear, practical guidance for the business.
• Review procurement processes and identify opportunities to improve compliance, efficiency and user experience.
• Work closely with Legal, Risk & Controls, Finance, Security and business stakeholders to influence sound procurement decisions.
• Support procurement systems and digital transformation, including AI-enabled improvements.
• Coordinate procurement governance forums and regular procurement surgeries, managing actions through to completion.
• Keep regulatory and procurement guidance up to date and communicate key changes across the organisation.
• Support the development of new templates, documentation and consistent ways of working across Procurement.
