Job summary

KARL STORZ is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Slough, UK. The role focuses on establishing and embedding procurement policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks across the business.

The position is full time, hybrid (3 days in Slough office), 35 hours per week, with a salary of £60,000‑£70,000 pro‑rata. Benefits include pension, private medical, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and embedding procurement policies and controls.
• Ability to develop templates, workflows and governance frameworks.
• Strong supplier onboarding, evaluation and contract management skills.
• Stakeholder training and coaching on new procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Review the current procurement landscape, processes, and supplier arrangements.
• Design, implement, and document procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Develop procurement tools, templates, and approval workflows.
• Establish clear procurement controls and delegation authorities.
• Create supplier onboarding, evaluation, and contract management processes.
• Support contract reviews and procurement activities where required.
