Job summary

Calibre8 Recruitment Ltd in the Maidenhead area is seeking a Procurement Manager to overhaul the organisation's procurement function on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves establishing new procedures, renegotiating supplier contracts, and driving efficiency.

You will identify and onboard new suppliers, run tenders, seek terms improvements, and implement a procurement framework that endures beyond the initial term. Some hybrid working is available, with one day per week from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement management within ISO or equivalent regulated industries.
• Experience setting up new procurement procedures and processes.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul procurement processes and set up a new procedures framework.
• Renegotiate with suppliers, from ad-hoc to contracted vendors.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, issue tenders and contracts where relevant.
• Drive spend reduction and improve supplier payment terms.
• Establish ongoing procurement framework to be used company-wide.
• Identify improvement opportunities with line management.
