Job description

My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Procurement Officer on a Contract basis.

The successful candidate will undertake tasks through the procurement process for the organisations new ERP system: support Procurement Workstream Lead in drafting and documentation of a contract management approach, decommissioning strategy, requirement gathering and documentation for Archiving & Support Lots and contribute to development of programme board and Gateway reports.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £475 per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• Ability to develop and document a Contract Management approach for an ERP implementation
• Review of contract register and liaising with contract owners to obtain contracts and gateway reports to confirm compliance
• Work alongside Procurement Lead to produce presentational content for procurement updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, align on priorities, and communicate project updates

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in procurement or working towards a qualification in procurement, or related field, e.g. CIPS.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Local Authority experience is essential
