Job Opportunity: Procurement Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join our busy Procurement Team.

We are seeking talented individuals with experience in public sector procurement to lead various activities across the University. As part of our close-knit Procurement Team, you will have the opportunity to develop your professional knowledge and experience.

Key skills for this role include excellent oral and written communication, as well as strong analytical skills, particularly in stakeholder management.

Applicants are expected to have:

  • Experience in a Public Sector Procurement environment, including a good understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations.
  • Experience managing tenders and developing strategy documentation.
  • A professional attitude and the ability to communicate positively with a variety of personalities and job roles at all levels.
  • A commitment to fairness, inclusivity, and the promotion of equality and diversity.

We offer an Agile (Flexible) working policy, which will be discussed upon appointment. Benefits include 30 days of annual leave, eight bank holidays, and typically three additional paid concessionary days each year during extended University closures around UK public holidays.
