Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates Ltd is supporting a public sector client in a Procurement Officer role on a six-month assignment with a potential extension. The role is hybrid with Bristol being onsite two days per week.

You will develop autonomous sourcing plans, design processes, and drive implementation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in delivery procurement/commercial support, with expertise in commercial sourcing, Tail Spend, and supplier onboarding, plus robust stakeholder

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a Procurement Officer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Bristol (x2 days per week onsite)
About the role: You will be responsible for developing autonomous sourcing plans, process designs and implementation products. Additionally, you will be identifying suitable use cases for one-off purchases and supplier onboarding.
The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance have a strong background in delivery Procurement/ Commercial support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in commercial sourcing, procurement improvement or route-to-market delivery.
• Knowledge around Tail Spend.
• Experience translating commercial policy into clear, controlled user journeys and products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, implementation planning and risk-management skills.
• Digital procurement, guided buying, AI-enabled systems experience (Desirable)
