Job summary

Summer Browning Associates, a public sector partner, seeks a Procurement Officer for an initial six-month assignment with potential extension. Hybrid working in Bristol with two days onsite weekly.

You will develop autonomous sourcing plans, design processes and implementation products, and identify use cases for one-off purchases and supplier onboarding. The ideal candidate has a strong background in delivery procurement or commercial support, with experience in tail spend, and excellent

• Experience in commercial sourcing, procurement improvement or route-to-market delivery.
• Knowledge around Tail Spend.
• Experience translating commercial policy into clear, controlled user journeys and products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, implementation planning and risk-management skills.
• Digital procurement, guided buying, AI-enabled systems experience (Desirable).

Responsibilities

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a Procurement Officer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Bristol (x2 days per week onsite)
About the role: You will be responsible for developing autonomous sourcing plans, process designs and implementation products. Additionally, you will be identifying suitable use cases for one-off purchases and supplier onboarding.
The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance have a strong background in delivery Procurement/ Commercial support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in commercial sourcing, procurement improvement or route-to-market delivery.
• Knowledge around Tail Spend.
• Experience translating commercial policy into clear, controlled user journeys and products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, implementation planning and risk-management skills.
• Digital procurement, guided buying, AI-enabled systems experience (Desirable)
