Job Description

You will manage key procurement projects across multiple sites; this includes sourcing and supplier relationship management.

• Accountable for managing and leading a procurement team, driving performance to deliver tangible and recognized value.
• Managing the tender process and evaluation of all major equipment service providers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure procurement deliverables are met in line with cost, quality, and programme requirements.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies.
• Plan, develop, and execute procurement strategies to ensure optimal value.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts; conduct supplier review meetings with stakeholders and suppliers to review performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Manage risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist' should have:

• A strong track record in project management, including end-to-end procurement, contracts, and SRM.
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of cost models/business models, particularly in relation to NEC models, familiarity with accounting practices, commercial audits, forecasting, valuations, and supplier costing models.
• Experience with development and implementation of NEC3 or NEC4 contracting models.
• Proactive contract compliance management and correction plan proposals.
• Package Management experience in 'cradle to grave' Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
• Strong negotiating and strategic planning skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
