  • Implement procurement best practices, including risk mitigation, supplier performance management, and long-term sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Design Office, development, production, quality, and finance departments to ensure procurement aligns with all requirements allowing the business to meet the needs of the customer and any project timelines.
  • Support career progression by identifying skill gaps, promoting cross-functional exposure, and facilitating internal/external training.
  • Drive process improvements in sourcing, supplier management, stock reorder level control, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
  • Monitor market trends, material cost fluctuations, and supply chain risks to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international regulations, and sustainability targets.
  • Complete reports as needed including a monthly summary including wins and losses and strategy.
  • In conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager develop and write the purchasing strategy for the business.
