Title: Procurement Manager

Sector: Higher Education

Location: Remote hybrid (1 day per week in the office)

Salary & Package: £44,000 + 40 days holiday + a further strong benefits package

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, supplier management, and contract negotiations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the university, including senior leadership and department heads
• Run competitive tenders and lead on procurement specifications, including Framework Agreements
• Help create and deliver category plans aligned to long-term goals

Experience & Requirements

• Experience managing indirect procurement categories
• Proven track record of delivering value through compliant, strategic procurement
• Solid understanding of public sector procurement regulations (PCR2015, OJEU, UCR, Procurement Act etc.)
• CIPS qualification is a plus, but not essential
