iO Associates is partnering with a leading organisation delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Procurement Manager to lead and support procurement strategies on major public and private sector programmes, including energy, infrastructure, and complex capital projects.
You'll take ownership of full procurement lifecycles-shaping strategies, managing procurement processes, advising on commercial approaches, and engaging the supply chain to deliver value and innovation. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across legal, finance, engineering, and programme functions.
What You'll Bring:
Degree qualified, ideally working towards or holding MRICS, MCIPS, or MCIOB.
Proven experience managing procurement on complex or high-value infrastructure or engineering projects.
Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and various forms of construction contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC).
Experience with collaborative procurement models (e.g., Alliances, Frameworks, ECI).
Ability to develop commercial strategies, tender documentation, and evaluation plans.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable: Experience with eSourcing tools, contract negotiation, category management, or commercial governance.
