Winch Design is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, purchasing and delivery of FF&E and Owner’s Supply on luxury projects. From budgeting and specification through to delivery, installation and aftercare you’ll manage schedules, invoices and supplier relationships to keep projects on track.

At Winch Design, procurement is about far more than placing orders — it’s about helping bring extraordinary interiors to life. From one-of-a-kind furniture pieces to carefully sourced accessories, you’ll play a key role in delivering beautiful, highly detailed spaces across some of the world’s most exceptional homes, yachts and aircraft.

What is the purpose of the role?

As Procurement Manager, you’ll help manage the sourcing, purchasing and delivery of FF&E and Owner’s Supply items across a range of luxury projects. You’ll be involved from the early stages of specification and budgeting, right through to delivery, installation and aftercare.

The role sits at the heart of the project team, working closely with our Senior Procurement Managers, Project Managers, Interior Designers, Accounts team and trusted suppliers. You’ll make sure every item is carefully tracked, beautifully delivered and aligned with the project’s budget, timeline and creative vision.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys the detail — but also understands the bigger picture. You’ll need to be organised, design‑aware and confident juggling multiple priorities, while keeping communication clear and positive throughout.

What can you expect from the role?

No two days are quite the same. One day you might be creating FF&E budgets from drawings and visuals or reviewing specifications ; the next you could be coordinating an international delivery, speaking with suppliers, preparing samples for a client presentation or supporting an on-site installation.

You’ll be responsible for keeping projects moving smoothly behind the scenes. That means managing delivery and payment schedules, tracking the status of every FF&E item from supplier to client, checking invoices against budgets and keeping the wider team updated with clear schedules and progress reports.

You’ll also work closely with our finance team, making sure they have the information they need on budgets, funds requests, invoices and timeline changes. There will be regular communication with project and client teams too, including helping draft updates relating to Owner’s Supply financial documents.

Supplier relationships are a big part of the role. You’ll appoint and liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing, follow up orders, arrange deliveries and help resolve any issues along the way. You’ll also support with care and maintenance, warranties and aftersales once a project has been delivered.

There may be opportunities to travel with approval from your Team Leader, attend trade shows and take part in installations — which can include hands‑on tasks such as lifting, carrying and packing. You’ll also be a supportive presence within the team, mentoring junior colleagues and helping the Procurement Coordinator where needed.

What skills and experience will you need for the role?

We’re looking for someone with at least four years’ experience in purchasing and FF&E production management, ideally gained within luxury residential, yacht, aircraft or high‑end interior design projects. A formal qualification in Design is advantageous, as you’ll need to understand the creative intent behind a scheme and translate sketches or concepts into clear, detailed working specifications.

You’ll be confident working with furniture, fixtures and equipment, and comfortable managing the practicalities that come with high‑end procurement — from budgets and invoices to international shipping, logistics and installation planning. Strong Excel skills are needed, and experience with FileMaker would be helpful, although Winch Design training will be provided.

Just as important is how you work. You’ll need to be highly organised, detail‑focused and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage a varied workload across several projects. You’ll be comfortable working independently, but also enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

Good communication and negotiation skills are key, as you’ll be building relationships with suppliers, colleagues and client teams. We’d also love you to be curious about how technology can improve the way we work, helping us find efficiencies and better ways to capture and share information.

Above all, you’ll be self‑motivated, practical and positive — someone who takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys seeing exceptional design become reality.

What are the pay and benefits for the role?

• Full time salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

• Hours 9:30am – 5:30pm – Monday to Friday

• 24 days annual leave per annum

    What is the interview process and timeline?

    Interviews will be a minimum of two stages, and a mix of Teams and in-person at the studio in SW15.

    We are aiming to hire as soon as possible, with the selected candidate in role in early December 2026.
