Join Our Team as a Procurement Manager

We're seeking a Procurement Manager to join our joint venture with BAM Nuttall at Hinkley Point C.

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Some flexibility on hours available; please discuss during your application.

Responsibilities

As a Procurement Manager, you will work with the head of supply chain to implement and oversee the strategic procurement plan, ensuring compliance with Kier Group and joint venture policies.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Developing and maintaining preferred supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to maximize value.
• Supporting audit processes, including internal and external Kier audits, and conducting supply chain audits regularly.
• Ensuring suppliers and subcontractors meet health, safety, sustainability, and carbon reduction standards.
• Managing budgets and negotiating to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements

This role is ideal if you:

• Have at least an HNC/HND in a construction discipline and hold professional membership within the construction industry.
• Possess senior-level experience in supply chain procurement within complex projects, with a track record of cost and time savings.
• Demonstrate strong self-management, communication, and IT skills, with the ability to foster good relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and stakeholders.
