Job summary

Lambert Engineering is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and supply chain activities for bespoke automation and capital equipment projects. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver complex, high-value solutions on time and within budget.

You will shape procurement strategy, build a global supplier network, drive cost reduction, and develop a high-performing team through continuous improvement. This role offers exposure to first-of-a-kind engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement leadership experience within engineering, automation, manufacturing, or capital equipment.
• Experience sourcing complex, low-volume, high-value components.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Global sourcing experience and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for bespoke components, engineered systems, and services.
• Develop a high-performing global supplier network.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and total cost of ownership initiatives.
