A leading company in construction is seeking a Procurement Manager for the Justice Sector. The role involves developing procurement strategies and managing subcontractor procurement. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation skills and experience in the construction industry.
Procurement Manager – Justice Sector
Location: Sale, Greater Manchester or Dartford considered
Are you a strategic thinking construction Senior Procurement Manager who wants to work on the biggest and best projects? Then we have the opportunity for you in our justice sector.
The position requires excellent knowledge of sub-contract experience, including PQQ, tendering, selection, and award. Utilising NEC and JCT type templates and being able to scope out these sub-contract packages is essential.

With a blank canvas, you will be instrumental in developing procurement strategies, policies, and processes. You will draw on your supply chain management skills to enhance the way we work together and deliver a collaborative relationship.
As a Procurement Manager, you will work on the procurement strategy with the Senior Procurement Manager. You will be responsible for the delivery of project procurement objectives and requirements. Essential skills and experience:
Supply chain planning
Experience of CIPS or working towards CIPS is desirable (or chartership in another discipline such as CIOB or RICS). Relevant in-job experience is also considered. Candidates should be able to access project offices in Dartford or Manchester.
Due to the sensitive nature of the projects, security screening will be carried out.
