Job description

We’re supporting a leading defence and aerospace organisation with the appointment of a Procurement Finance Analyst to join their Supply Chain team.

This is a new capability in the UK, giving you the opportunity to help establish and shape how procurement financial analysis is delivered across the organisation.

You’ll be responsible for analysing complex supplier proposals, developing fair and reasonable price positions, identifying cost efficiencies and supporting procurement teams through supplier negotiations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing cost models, estimates and pricing positions
• Analysing market trends, economic indices and FX movements
• Supporting supplier negotiations and sourcing decisions
• Evaluating supplier financial performance and data
• Developing KPIs and financial reporting across the supply chain
• Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Engineering and Programme teams
• Building processes and best practice aligned with the wider organisation

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Contracts, Estimating, Supplier Management or a related business function
• Degree educated
• Experience working with supplier data and commercial proposals
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience in cost/price analysis, estimating or procurement finance would be highly advantageous
• Defence, aerospace or complex engineering experience would be a bonus
• Security clearance eligibility required
