Position Overview

As the Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the organisation's procurement strategy and ensuring efficient processes. You will lead supplier management, champion best practices, and provide impactful insights to support the club's operations and success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Champion an efficient and streamlined procurement process, driving continuous improvement
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and value for money
• Implement and uphold compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provide impactful insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Proactively manage risks associated with suppliers and procurement activities
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven background in a similar procurement environment, ideally within the sports or entertainment industry
• MCIPS designation or actively working towards achieving it
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Proven track record of problem-solving and driving process improvements
• Proficient in relevant procurement software and IT systems
