About The Role

The Procurement Manager will oversee the organisation's procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&E procurement and a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects across the M&E sector. Responsibilities include designing and implementing new ideas in procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Research alternative products to identify opportunities for improving tender margins.
• Interpret drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure correct procurement of products/services.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including pre-construction teams, operations, suppliers/sub-contractors, and client representatives.
• Prepare accurate purchase orders, reports, and records.
• Liaise with site teams and suppliers to meet plant and materials requirements promptly.
• Negotiate competitive rates and terms.
• Challenge suppliers professionally when expectations are not met.

Person Specification

• Construction qualification such as CIPS.
• At least 10 years of experience in procurement planning and supply chain management for projects.
• Experience with MEP.
• Demonstrated exposure to the M&E sector.
• Policy compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate requirements among project teams, suppliers, and clients.
• DBS check required before start date.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
