Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a West London-based multi-college trust on an initial 6-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement (roughly two days remote per week).

The ideal candidate will have public sector procurement experience, strong knowledge of the Procurement Act, and a track record in procurement transformation with the ability to deliver results quickly.

Qualifications

• Public sector procurement experience – essential.
• Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act.
• Proven experience managing tendering and end-to-end procurement.
• Procurement transformation/change experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years' procurement experience.
• Understanding of public sector spending models and governance.
• Ability to work at pace and deliver tangible results.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to think outside the box.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• MCIPS/FCIPS or working towards qualification is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience within education/FE/college environments would be advantageous.
• Experience creating procurement templates, processes and documentation is a bonus.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Procurement Manager to join a well established Multi College Trust based in West London on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with approximately two days per week working remotely from home.
