We’re looking for a strategic and inquisitive procurement professional to join our Strategic Procurement Delivery team, working across multiple categories—including Health, Estates & Facilities Management, Digital & IT, and Business Services.
You will lead on procurement projects for our NHS Customers, being responsible for the end to end procurement strategy. You’ll also play a key role in guiding, training, and supporting our customers—helping them navigate the process with confidence while driving value and excellence.
A thorough knowledge of public procurement regulations, including the Procurement Contract Regulations 2015, the Provider Selection Regime, or the New Procurement Act 2023, is vital for success in this role, as these regulations govern procurement processes, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency in awarding contracts.
Although this position is predominantly home-based, there will be regular onsite meetings at our Salford office once per month, and national travel to supplier and client sites when required.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading Procurement projects (prioritisation, pre-tendering activities, tendering, selection, evaluation, moderation and potentially contract negotiation).
- Providing high quality customer centric procurement and service design advice to external customers whilst supporting the team in delivery of projects.
- Nurturing positive, collaborative, and supportive professional relationships with internal collaborators and external customers, as well as actively generating and establishing relationships with new customers.
- Actively generating opportunities for future work through the ongoing development of professional networks of contacts across the NHS and wider public sector.
- Horizon scanning in order to identify development and new opportunities for new and existing customers.
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of Procurement Contract Regulations 2015, Provider Selection Regime and New Procurement Act 2023.
- Experience and/or knowledge or working with the NHS/Public Sector.
- Experience in the full procurement process, including leading tendering projects and framework call offs.
- CIPS L4 or willingness to undertake.
- Knowledge/ experience of Procurement ERP systems, eSourcing tools.
- General commercial awareness.
