Job summary

Portfolio Procurement is recruiting on behalf of a Bedfordshire based client for a Procurement Manager role. You will lead the Procurement and Planning function to ensure materials and production meet demand, with responsibility for S&OP and strategic supplier relationships.

The role focuses on developing procurement strategies across spend categories, leading sourcing/tendering activities, and coaching the procurement team to optimise performance and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement and Planning.
• Management of a Procurement team within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation experience.
• Experience working with an MRP/ERP system.
• Excellent stakeholder skills.
