Job summary

Portfolio Procurement's Buckinghamshire client seeks a Buyer to manage purchase orders, source key items and work with stakeholders on purchasing requirements.

The role offers progression toward CIPS, exposure to ERP/MRP systems and the chance to build strong supplier relationships in a fast-moving business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Purchasing or Buying role.
• Ideally part qualified in CIPS or with a willingness to complete with company support.
• Experience with an ERP/MRP system.
• Some knowledge of import/export procedures.
• Good IT skills including Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, raise and process all purchase orders

• Ensure orders are progressing in a timely and effective manner
