Qualifications

• This role requires 5–8 years PQE in procurement, public law or commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023.
• Experience in High Court litigation and dispute resolution.
• Excellent drafting skills and strong legal analysis.
• Confidence supervising junior lawyers.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and intermediaries.
• Excellent project management and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and manage a varied caseload of procurement and commercial disputes.
• Handle contentious procurement matters and High Court litigation.
• Provide risk management and strategic advisory input on procurements.
• Engage in judicial review and complex IT/infrastructure disputes.
• Support a collaborative team with colleagues across departments.
