Job summary

Teledyne e2v in Chelmsford seeks a Head of Procurement to lead direct RF Power procurement and indirect site purchases. You will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive best practices to deliver value and resilience across the supply chain.

You will lead a team, collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Finance, ensuring compliant, cost-effective sourcing while advancing regional and global procurement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement leadership roles across manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Proven track record in direct and indirect procurement, including contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Experience driving efficiencies, cost savings, and process improvements across procurement functions.
• Strong strategic thinking and development of procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activities for RF Power and oversee indirect procurement for the Chelmsford site.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize total cost of ownership, quality, service and delivery.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Finance to ensure integrated planning and effective information flow.
• Provide reporting, insights, and KPI metrics to support decision-making.
