Job summary

Havebury Homes is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead transformation of the procurement function, implementing strategy and driving compliance and efficiency across the organisation. The role oversees contract management, supports insurance processes, and reports to stakeholders with meaningful procurement analytics.

The successful candidate will guide a team, champion value for money and risk management, and operate in a hybrid working setup from the East of England.

Qualifications

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Procurement function, managing the team to meet objectives and develop staff.
• Establish, enforce and continuously develop procurement policies and procedures with compliance and value for money in mind.
• Provide expert strategic procurement advice to operational teams on key contracts and manage risk.
• Champion a corporate procurement culture where compliance and efficiency balance to meet business needs.
• Identify long-term, sustainable savings through process improvement and value delivery.
• Deliver end-to-end contract management ensuring purchasing activity complies with legislation and policies.
• Support end-to-end insurance processes in collaboration with the Insurance Coordinator.

Responsibilities
