TAIT is seeking a Procurement Lead in Pontefract to manage procurement activities for assigned project scopes. This role requires strong experience in procurement within manufacturing, and the ability to work with project stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within manufacturing or a similar field.
• Experience working in a project-based business.
• Strong understanding of competitive bidding and supplier management.
• Ability to work with other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as procurement lead for defined project scopes.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and organize supplier responses.
• Develop POs including necessary specifications.
• Manage orders from confirmations to invoice closure.
• Lead supplier negotiations to drive savings.
