Job summary

Nicholas Associates is recruiting an Expeditor to join our Essex-based engineering and manufacturing team. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working, office-based initially and moving to 2 days per week from home.

Salary is 28,000 per annum. You will support the Procurement/Purchasing Team by ensuring import/export paperwork is in place, chasing suppliers and logistics to secure on-time deliveries, and maintaining product availability.

Qualifications

• Previous expediting, buying, purchase administration or procurement support is preferred.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Expedite orders by coordinating with Procurement and Purchasing Teams to ensure paperwork is in place.
• Chase suppliers and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and product availability.
