Job summary

Ocean Infinity is seeking an Expeditor to join the Supply Chain Management team in the UK. The role ensures timely, complete delivery of goods in line with contractual commitments and coordinates across Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, Projects, and vessel teams.

You will chase suppliers, manage delivery schedules, and maintain accurate system records, supporting project timelines and vessel availability in a fast-paced maritime robotics environment.

• Strong coordination across internal teams and suppliers to protect schedules.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for post-contract expediting of all physical goods across procurement categories.
• Proactively chase suppliers to ensure deliveries align with PO and contract commitments.
• Manage revised delivery schedules with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain delivery information in NetSuite with promised dates and goods receipts.
• Coordinate deliveries into warehouse/workshop and direct vessel deliveries.
• Provide forward visibility of inbound deliveries with logistics teams and consolidate shipments for vessels.
• Support projects by prioritising critical path materials and highlighting risks.
• Raise and manage supplier nonconformance reports (NCRs) and track corrections.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues to Buyers.
• Assist with invoice queries related to delivery, quantity, or receipt discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute weekly expediting reports and dashboards focusing on OTIF and overdue lines.

The Expeditor will play a critical operational role in supporting the delivery of Ocean Infinity’s projects and ongoing operations by ensuring that goodsprocuredfrom suppliers are deliveredon time, in full, and in line with contractual commitments.

Acting as the central coordination point betweenProcurement, Logistics, Warehouse/Workshop, Finance, Projects, and vessel teams, the Expeditor will focus onpost contractactivities, supplier delivery performance, and visibility of inbound materials. The role will work closely with Buyers and Senior Buyers to highlight delivery risks, manage supplier nonconformance, and protect project schedules and vessel availability in a fastpacedmaritime robotics environment.

What you will do

• Act as theprimary point of contact forpostcontractexpeditingof all physical goods across all procurement categories (excluding services).
• Proactivelychase suppliersto ensure deliveries are made in line with purchase order and contract commitments.
• Manage and agreerevised delivery scheduleswith suppliers whererequired, liaising with internal stakeholders to confirm priorities and impacts.
• Maintainaccurateanduptodatedelivery information inNetSuite, including promised dates, revised schedules, and goods receipts.
• Coordinate deliveries into thewarehouse/workshopand managedirecttovesseldeliveries, liaising with vessel teams to confirm receipt and ensure systembookingin.
• Work closely with theLogisticsteamto provide forward visibility of inbound deliveries and support consolidation of multiple shipments for onward delivery to vessels globally.
• SupportProjects and Mobilisations teamsby prioritising critical path materials and highlighting delivery risks early.
• Work with Warehouse and Buyers to raise and manageSupplierNonConformanceReports (NCRs)and track rectification actions through to closure.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance andhighlight poor or recurring performanceto the relevant Buyer and Senior Buyer for the category or subcategory.
• Act asfirst point of contact for invoice queriesrelated to delivery, quantity, or receipt discrepancies, coordinating resolution with Finance, Procurement, and suppliers.
• Prepare, manage, and distributeweekly expediting reports and dashboards, focusing on OTIF performance, overdue PO lines, NCRs, and outstanding vessel deliveries.
• Championaccuratedata, clear communication, and disciplinedfollowupto support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Who you are

• Experienced in an operational supply chain,logistics, procurement support, orexpeditingrole, or able todemonstratestrong transferable skills.
• Persistent, organised, anddeliveryfocused, with the confidence to chase suppliers and coordinate across multiple internal teams.
• Comfortable working in ahightempo, operational environmentwith changing priorities and tight schedules.
• Strong communicator, able to work effectively with suppliers, vessel crews, project teams, and corporate functions.
• Detailorientedanddatadriven, with a commitment tomaintainingaccuratesystem records and reports.
• Proactive problem solver whoidentifiesrisks early and escalates appropriately.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable

• 2-4 years' experience inexpediting,logistics, procurement operations, warehouse coordination, or supply chain roles.
• Hands on experience withERP systems(e.g. NetSuite) and delivery or order tracking.
• Exposure tointernational supply chains, freightforwarding, or vessel/offshore delivery environments.
• Familiarity with OTIF metrics, supplier performance tracking, and nonconformance management.
• Experience working across procurement,logistics, warehouse, and finance interfaces.

Salary for this position:

Up to £35,000 per annum
