BJF Group in Maidstone, Kent, seeks an experienced Procurement Director to lead our procurement and supply chain function. You will shape strategy, maximise value, strengthen supplier partnerships and support sustainable growth.

Lead strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and drive digital transformation with Power BI-driven insights, delivering measurable cost savings and improved performance across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Strategic thinker with solid analytical and financial acumen.
• Experience with supplier performance management and cost savings.
• MCIPS qualified or equivalent desirable.
• Power BI and data-driven procurement insights advantageous.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and delivering procurement strategies that maximise value, drive efficiencies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Procurement and Supply Chain team.

• Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts that optimise value and mitigate risk.
• Drive innovation and digital transformation, including the use of Power BI and procurement analytics.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain performance.
• Champion continuous improvement, sustainability, and best practice across the business.
• Act as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to company-wide strategy and decision-making.

About You

• Proven senior leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and financial acumen.
• Experienced in supplier performance management and delivering measurable cost savings.
• MCIPS qualified or equivalent experience desirable.
