Job summary

Templewood Recruitment Limited is seeking a Procurement Order Expeditor to join our client’s specialist procurement team in the UK. You will monitor, expeditate and align purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Key duties include liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, maintaining records, and driving procurement efficiency while upholding policy compliance and reporting on order status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to negotiate and influence others to achieve positive outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal procurement, finance and warehouse teams.
• Create, monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records of order statuses, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
• Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions; develop relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement.
