Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking a Procurement Data Analyst to join the UK Category Management Organisation within the Procurement & Commercial Function of the Electronics Division. You will analyze data, build insightful Power BI reports, and contribute to procurement strategy and risk management in a hybrid environment.

The role requires expertise in Excel, Power BI, and SAP, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data analytics, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel at an expert level and extensive experience using Power BI for report development and data visualization.
• Substantial experience with SAP and ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of procurement principles, supply chain practices, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in data analytics, supply chain, or related fields is advantageous.
• Security clearance in line with UK Government standards is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather, understand, and report forecast data to support sourcing and contracting activities.
• Developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate procurement strategies and performance metrics.
• Developing and maintaining inflation reports, tracking procurement KPIs, and collating spend and performance data for analysis.
• Identifying trends, assessing supply risks, and recommending actions to mitigate issues.
• Supporting the procurement team with data requests and ensuring data quality through validation and cleansing.
• Designing surveys and analyzing data to focus on leading indicators for continuous improvement.
• Participating in cross-functional teams to develop data management policies and process improvements.
• Providing market intelligence and supplier performance insights to inform strategic decisions.
