Job summary

Valeo Foods UK, via its Matthew Walker operation, is seeking a Procurement Officer to coordinate the supply of all raw ingredients and manage supplier communications. You will work across internal teams to align production plans, drive cost reductions and continuous improvements, and support product development initiatives as needed.

You will update SAP, lead cost-saving initiatives, and ensure accurate data for new ingredient sourcing, while addressing shortages and organising supplier review

Qualifications

• Experience in administration and supplier coordination.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationship building.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply of all raw ingredient materials and communicate requirements with suppliers.
• Work with internal departments to manage production plans.
• Develop and process purchasing cost savings and maintain continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with product development to meet innovation needs.”
• Obtain accurate data for the purchase of new ingredients and investigate shortages.
• Organise review meetings on site with new and current suppliers.
