Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing public sector procurement and contract activities, ideally in construction, property, housing, or public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end procurement and tendering activities, focusing on construction, property and capital project contracts.
• Develop sourcing strategies, analyse spend and market trends, and identify opportunities for value-for-money savings and procurement efficiencies.
• Produce tender documentation, evaluation reports, contract award recommendations, and support supplier negotiations and contract management activities.
• Monitor procurement performance through KPI reporting, MIS, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert procurement guidance, training, and support throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Maintain procurement procedures, e-procurement systems, governance controls, and regulatory compliance while supporting collaborative procurement projects and organisational objectives.

Working within a property, housing, and capital projects environment, you will support the delivery of procurement and contract management activities, with a particular focus on construction-related projects.

This role is ideal for a procurement professional looking to develop their experience across tendering, contract management, supplier engagement, and procurement improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end procurement and tendering activities, with a particular focus on construction, property, and capital project contracts.
• Develop sourcing strategies, analyse spend and market trends, and identify opportunities to deliver value-for-money savings and procurement efficiencies.
