Job summary

Era4 is building national AI infrastructure powered by renewable energy in the UK. We seek a hands-on Supplier Management lead to own the supplier register from day one, drive onboarding workflows, and ensure compliance across contracts and documentation.

You will collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal and Security to maintain records, track renewals and support SOC 2/ISO27001 controls, while continuously improving processes in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience: 4–5 years in a procurement or supplier-management role with hands-on experience reading and interpreting contracts and supplier agreements.
• Process ownership: experience owning and maintaining records such as supplier databases, asset registers, or compliance trackers with meticulous attention to detail and audit-readiness.
• Stakeholder instincts: confident coordinating and communicating across multiple teams, knowing when to push or escalate.
• Continuous improvement: comfortable with systems and automation; ability to build and improve process workflows.
• Self-starter: energized by ambiguity, curious, resourceful, and able to create structure where none exists while juggling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for teams onboarding new suppliers and streamline the process without cutting corners.
• Own and maintain the supplier register as the single source of truth through all stages from request to due diligence, legal review, leadership approval and finance setup.
• Collect, verify and store required supplier documentation (insurance certificates, due diligence, compliance evidence, InfoSec questionnaires and more).
• Track contract renewal and renegotiation dates across the supplier base and issue timely reminders to internal owners.
• Own and maintain corporate and production asset registers from purchase to disposal, ensuring assets are tagged, assigned, reconciled and audited regularly.
• Support the GRC Manager with operational evidence needed for SOC 2 and ISO27001 third-party controls.
