Group Senior Buyer - Fleet - £53,000 to £63,000 | Envious full corporate benefits | REMOTE role with monthly visits to sites in the UK | A global FTSE 100 Professional Services business

This is an incredible opportunity for someone to join a market leading, truly global business who have many arms of what they cover.

They are looking an experienced Fleet Category Specialist to own the category across the UK, and potentially Europe in due course.

In order to be considered for this role, you MUST have specialist Fleet category experience, managing various weighted Vehicles from 1.5 to 4 tonnes, where there will be a wide spec depending on which arm for the business it is.

The group function is going through a hugely exiting transformation, where they have expanded the function and there will be continuous opportunities for progression

Role and responsibilities:

• Report into the Head of Global Procurement, within a a good sized team of fellow colleagues at various levels
• Develop, design and continuously improve category strategies
• End to end sourcing, within designated spend areas using a strategic approach
• Working with the senior business leads, to develop category strategies and category planning
• Continuous advice to the your stakeholders on market trends, new innovations and knowledge of the supplier market
• Be able to manage and understand both regulated and un-regulated complex projects
• Ensure in parallel to strategic procurement, ensuring best commercial value for the business

Experience required:

• Extensive experience in the Fleet category, being a subject matter expert
• Strong and proven, strategic category management in a a large complex business
• Worked in a large, global and matrix organisation
• Show that you have delivered savings, in a large and similar sized business
• Ability to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level
• Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationships
• Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team
• MCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essential
